Marching Band

The SVMB, with only 36 members, adopted an attitude of "small, but mighty" and impressed crowds everywhere they performed.  The halftime show was titled "Friday Night Lights" and featured:

Blinding Lights

Light 'em Up

The SVMB competed at the Phil Campbell Bobcat Marching Classic and earned all Superior ratings, Best-in-Class Percussion, Best-in-Class Dance Line, and Best-in-Class Majorette.

The Concert Band had a very successful year, performing music that encouraged technical and emotional growth.  The highlight was an MPA performance that was only one point short of a perfect stage score!

Jazz Band

The jazz program at SVHS was re-established this year with the creation of SVJazz!  Initially a part of the 4th block Concert Band class, SVJazz will become its own ensemble in 2024-2025 with a focus on being a "gig band" that is able to go out and perform in the community.  This year, the jazz band's inaugural performance was at the Shelton State Jazz Festival, followed by the SVHS spring concert.
